| Am 03.06.2021 begann die dritte und letzte Forschungsrunde des SUMRICA (Sustainable Urban Mobility in Central Asia) Projektes. In dieser Phase forschen sieben Wissenschaftler*innen von Universitäten in Kasachstan, Iran, Usbekistan und Kirgistan am Forschungsbereich "Mobilität und Raum" des ZTG zu Themen der Optimierung und Finanzierung des öffentlichen Personennahverkehrs. Aufgrund der mit der Corona-Pandemie einhergehenden Reisebeschränkungen startet die Forschungsrunde zunächst in einem hybriden Format, gefolgt von einem persönlichen Aufenthalt der Gastwissenschaftler*innen in Berlin im Laufe der nächsten Wochen. Ihren Abschluss findet die Forschungsrunde in der dritten SUMRICA School in Nur-Sultan, Kasachstan, vom 20. bis zum 24. September 2021. The third and final research round of the SUMRICA (Sustainable Urban Mobility in Central Asia) project began on June 3rd, 2021. In this phase, seven researchers from universities in Kazakhstan, Iran, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are joining the "Mobility and Space" research area of the ZTG and will conduct research on the optimization and financing of local public transport. Due to the corona pandemic related travel restrictions, the research round will start in a hybrid format followed by a physical stay in Berlin in the next few weeks.
